scxadmin error message

Hi there,

after installing the scom/scx agent on RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 (SCOM 2012 SP 1) there is a need to change/reregister the certificate. This is done without any problems but after that procedure the scxadmin ha to be restarted. Doing this the following error message was thrown:

scxadmin –restart

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'SCXCoreLib::SCXStringConversionException'

It makes no difference if you choose an other option (-stop, -start,...) the error message is always the same.

But, the agent is running correctly!? Every 5 Minutres there is an entry in /var/log/secure:
Mar 27 15:18:44 <hostname> sudo: <username> : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/ ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/opt/microsoft/scx/bin/scxlogfilereader -p

Can anybody give me some explanation why this error message is thrown?

I've got a clone of the VM mentioned above. This machine throws the expected message:

scxadmin –restart

Shutting down Microsoft SCX CIM Server: [ OK ]
Starting Microsoft SCX CIM Server: [ OK ]

best regards,
